Are you looking for an anti ageing facial? You may remember my previous blog posts where I told you about three different anti ageing facials I had tried at Sunrise Health & Beauty Salon in Marlow. I am back to update you on the results and tell you a bit more about how I got on and what I thought. After trying the COMCIT and having the lovely relaxing Japanese Cosmo Facelift Facial I then had a full course of the new facials from Endospheres Therapy using their EVA technology. Each treatment session is split into three distinct phases and this makes it possible for the facial to be tailored to the individuals requirements and give targeted results depending on where you feel you need a bit of help. The machine has three separate hand pieces and the phases are: Phase 1 : SAM (Sensorized Ablative Microvibration) - the applicator creates friction which causes exfoliation of the upper layers of the skin. This improves the texture and brightness of the skin whilst stimulating the upper layers in preparation for the next phase. It feels gentle and relaxing and is comfortable to experience. I also felt like it was having an immediate effect. Phase 2 : FACE (Sensorized Compressive Microvibration) - the new Endospheres method combats ageing of the face, neck and neckline thanks to deep stimulations carried out by spheres that reduce muscular contractions and improve the renewal of collagen and elastin, regenerating the muscle and dermis. In simple terms ... the results are immediate and your therapist can see what area she needs to work on. Again it is gentle and comfortable with a sweeping movement targeted on specific muscles and areas of the face. You do feel like something is happening! Phase 3 : VED (Vibro Electra Delivery) - now the pores are open from Phase 1 and 2, the final phase uses the VED applicator to add deep nutrition. Your therapist will use a face serum and the applicator delivers an electrical pulse to enable the deep penetration of the ingredients into the cells. And no needles needed! The electrical pulse can be turned up or down depending on your preference but it is not uncomfortable and I was able to tolerate a higher setting but it entirely up to you. I loved the fact that after each session my skin looked healthy and glowing, it looked lifted and fresh and I felt I could walk out of the salon without make-up and not look exhausted or pale. I am not a 'no make up kind of girl'. It is very difficult to be specific about results and everyone is different but I decided to monitor a prominent acne scar I have which has been made worse by the addition of deeper lines as I have got older and without a doubt I have seen an improvement in both the scar and the lines. My skin feels clearer and more lifted and I feel there is more of a healthy look to my complexion. Whilst a course is recommended I would also say that one or two treatments before a special occasion would give a confidence boost and an improved appearance. There is no down time after the treatment and the results are instant. If you do have a course then it is good to continue to have regular maintenance treatments probably monthly.
What I found with the COMCIT was it can be quite uncomfortable whereas the Endospheres was actually quite relaxing and gentle. If you would like to see the EVA machine working it's magic on me then head over to my Instagram Stories - under highlights look for Anti Ageing and there is a series of short videos you can watch which demonstrates the different phases. You can get in touch Sunrise Health & Beauty Salon, Marlow via their website or call them on 01628 487719. And look out for another post soon, I had semi-permanent eyeliner done recently!
