I have been very lucky to be working with Sunrise Health & Beauty Salon in Marlow recently to bring to my blog some fantastic reviews of the latest technology in anti ageing treatments and facials. I'm doing the research and trying them out so you can read my reviews and find out what would be best for you before you invest your time and money. Or add a treatment to your gift wish list this Christmas!
First of all I tried the COMCIT treatment by Crystal Clear and blogged about it on this post. I had four treatments in total and I could see an improvement in some of my lines and small acne scars, However, COMCIT can feel quite harsh during the treatment and although you get a relaxing mask at the end, it does feel a bit uncomfortable so I was keen to find out what else is available.
Japanese Cosmo Facelift Facial
I was then lucky enough to squeeze in a more relaxing facial and I had the Japanese Cosmo Facelift Facial. This is the ultimate relaxation treat and it is working it's magic on your skin while you rest! This technique from Japan can reduce fine lines and puffiness by stimulating the 25 acu-pressure points of the face to bring a new radiance to your skin. No machine, this is a hands-on facial massage using oil.
The facial lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes and costs £67.50, a series of treatments over a four week period is recommended but even after one treatment you will notice a new radiance and feel the benefits.
I had my treatment done early evening so I was able to go home and do nothing afterwards and I enjoyed a lovely nights sleep and my skin felt very soft and glowing, I was delighted with the results. It is one of the most natural anti-ageing treatments available, it is quite a firm massage but not at all uncomfortable.
Sunrise Health & Beauty in Marlow have recently celebrated ten years in their current salon and I joined them for their birthday party where they were offering free trials of some of the treatments. The ladies who tried the Japanese Cosmo Facelift Facial were all singing it's praises and were keen to have a further treatment.
NEW Endosphere Facial
Sunrise are one of only two exclusive salons in the UK to be given the first opportunity to trial a new device and up to date technology in anti-ageing and facial rejuvenation. The EVA device brings together the innovation and evolution of Endospheres Therapy and the treatment offers three separate phases to enhance natural beauty.
At their birthday party I was one of the first clients to try out this new treatment which they are trialing through the month of December. It is more gentle than the COMCIT, it is totally non-invasive and there is no down time. You walk out of the salon and can apply make-up if you want to and carry on your day. My skin was glowing and slightly red but not to any extreme, it just looked like I had been out in the fresh air.
The first phase is the exfoliation of the upper layers of the skin, my skin felt extremely soft after and this phase prepares the skin for the next step. Phase two is microvibration and the result is a gentle filling of wrinkles and immediate rejuvenation. On checking in the mirror after this phase I could see that my fine lines and acne scar near my mouth were considerably reduced. Finally phase three adds deep nutrition into the skin. A light serum was applied to the areas that needed attention on my face and a small hand held device delivered very light electrical impulses and glided over my skin so that the serum was absorbed fully. A moisturiser is then applied with a gentle massage and you are good to go.
My face felt lifted, tighter, stronger and more toned. The hand held devices used are very gentle and the result is an advanced treatment but with no discomfort, extremely relaxing and natural.
Sunrise Health & Beauty are offering clients a free trial session for the month of December - you will be booked in for a half hour treatment where half of your face will be treated so you can experience the treatment and compare the results to decide if you would like to continue with treatments or book a course.
If you want to book a full treatment which takes 1 hour then again for December only the price for a one-off session is £125 (usual price is £145).
For lasting results a course of ten is recommended and there are special offers available if you buy a course. But one session will offer noticeable results if you need a boost for the Christmas and New Year party season or you have a special occasion coming up.
So there you have a choice of three different facials all targeted to improve the appearance of your skin and rejuvenate without the need for surgery or needles. All natural and all very advanced - the most relaxing being the Cosmo Facial or the Endosphere Facial - guaranteeing a good nights sleep after.
I will be back with an update after I have tried the Endosphere Facial a few more times but I wanted to share my initial thoughts so you can take advantage of the December free trial or special offer!
