Gifted Items From time to time I will be gifted a product from a brand and asked to do a review on my blog. This is something I enjoy doing and it is great to be establishing relationships with the brands I love. My review will always be honest, and I will only accept a gift if the product reflects my own style. If an item is gifted, then I will disclose this on the post. Affiliate Links Sometimes the links on my blog are affiliate links, if you click on the link and subsequently buy something then I earn a very small commission, it doesn’t cost you any extra. Mostly I include links because I love something, and I want to share the details with you. Sponsored Posts Sometimes I may be paid to produce a blog post or promote something on social media, but it will always be my own words and completely honest. My priority is keeping my blog open, honest and real – this is my life, and this is what I wear and do every day!
I will never sell, barter, or rent your email address to any unauthorised third party.
How I collect and use information
This Site only contacts individuals who specifically request that I do so or in the event that they have signed up to receive my free email communications. Generally, this information includes name and e-mail address for registration to receive our free newsletters and email updates. All of this information is provided to me by you.
I also collect and store information that is generated automatically as you navigate online through the Site. For example, I may collect information about your computer’s connection to the Internet, which allows me, among other things, to improve the delivery of my web pages to you and to measure traffic on the Site. I also may use a standard feature found in browser software called a “cookie” to enhance your experience with the Site. Cookies are small files that your web browser places on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes. By showing how and when visitors use the Site, cookies help me deliver advertisements, identify how many unique users visit my site, and track user trends and patterns. They also prevent you from having to re-enter your preferences on certain areas of the Site where you may have entered preference information before. The Site also may use web beacons (single-pixel graphic files also known as “transparent GIFs”) to access cookies and to count users who visit the Site or open HTML-formatted email messages. Details of how to disable cookies on your own web browser can be found in my Cookies Policy (see below).
The information that you give to me directly on the site (e.g. within comments on blog posts such as your name and email address) is never shared or added to any mailing lists.
To ensure the security and safety of this site, I create monthly backups of all information on this site, which are held in a zip file within my own email server. Each backup file is deleted in full when the next one is created.
Be aware that I may occasionally release information about our visitors when release is appropriate to comply with law or to protect the rights, property or safety of users of the Site or the public.
Please also note that as my business grows, I may buy or sell various assets. In the unlikely event that I sell some or all of my assets, or my website is acquired by another company, information about my users may be among the transferred assets.
How do we store your Information as a Subscriber?
Your information is stored at the list server that delivers this Site’s emails (https://MailChimp.com). Your information can only be accessed by those who help manage those lists in order to deliver email to those who would like to receive this Site’s newsletters and email updates. I take steps to ensure that any Virtual Assistants I use to help me complete tasks are GDPR knowledgeable and compliant in their practices.
All of the newsletters or emails that are sent to you by this Site include an unsubscribe link in them. You can remove yourself at any time from our newsletters or mailing list by clicking on the unsubscribe link that can be found in every communication that I send you.
