Following on from my first COMCIT anti-ageing facial at Sunrise Health & Beauty, Dawn encouraged me to book in for an eyebrow shape and tint - or a better description - an instant facelift! I have had my eyebrows threaded and tinted and I have had a shape and tint in the past, but I do not get in done often enough. And really as women in our 40's and 50's we should be having this simple beauty treatment done monthly. It makes such a difference! I was already feeling pretty refreshed and glowing from my first two facials so adding an eyebrow shape and tint really has lifted my face and defined my eyes. I am quite fortunate, I did't over-pluck my eyebrows when I was younger, so although they are quite light in colour and they are thinning a bit, on the whole they are pretty good and almost intact, so for me a shape and tint is perfect. However, if you are feeling a bit bare in the eyebrow department then the next thing to consider is microblading. Dawn at Sunrise specialises in semi-permanent make-up and she can work wonders with your eye brows. Take a look at her Instagram grid for lots of before and after photos. Eyebrow shape and tintThis is a really simple procedure and takes probably ten minutes at the most. First of all Joanne my therapist at Sunrise, chatted to me about what I wanted and what shade would suit me, she then applied the tint and literally removed it in less than 2 minutes it felt like! She then applied the wax using lycon wax, this didn't hurt at all and she gently shaped my brows finishing off with plucking any stray long hairs. All the time I just relaxed on the bed. Prices start at £9.50 just for the tint then it is £15.00 for the reshape - take a look here though for more details and what combinations are available. Eyebrow microbladingI didn't have this done but if your eyebrows are uneven, a bit sparse or need more definition then microblading would be perfect. Microblading is a simple tattooing technique where small handheld tool made up of several tiny needles is used to add a permanent pigment to the skin. It can enhance your natural brows with semi-permanent results. A touch-up might be needed after 9 months but this varies from person to person. Prices start at £299 but take a look here to find out more about the various options. Your initial consultation and patch test is free. Boost confidence and get an instant facelift ...What's not to love!? I can definitely see a massive difference after I have had my eyebrows shaped and tinted. My face just feels lifted and more open. I have quite small eyes so this really helps to define my eyes a bit more. I will definitely be booking my appointments monthly so I don't let time slip and miss getting them done! I don't spend a huge amount on regular beauty treatments but I do think this is one that is worthwhile adding to my schedule! What do you think? Do you get your brows done regularly already? Find out more and book at appointment with Sunrise Health & Beauty here. Love Michelle xx My necklace in the top photo is from Toria Lee Accessories. Disclaimer: I was gifted an eyebrow tint and shape by Sunrise Health & Beauty, I was under no obligation to write about my experience, I have chosen to do this and my views and opinions are entirely my own.

If you have fine or transparent hair, tinting is an excellent option, as it offers both dimension and fullness.
