I have been using my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish forever, but I am always open to trying different skin care options - especially with some anti ageing benefits. I had seen Lumity advertising but not taken much notice but when they contacted me to ask if I would like to receive a press sample pack (gifted) I thought I would give it a go. They sent me their 4-in-1 Cleanse, the Skin Nutrients Facial Oil and a 7-day supply of the Morning & Night soft gel supplements. These are available as a Travel Pack and are ideal for trying before you buy the full size, it would make a lovely gift or of course to take on holiday! So what did I think? 4-in-1 CleanseMy first observation was that its black! Not what I was expecting at all. I love the scent and the texture. I apply it to a dry face and massage in thoroughly then remove with my wet face cloth. It leaves my face cloth pretty dirty but it really feels like it is doing something, like it is working on my skin. It feels warm on application and has a gentle exfoliating effect. It can also be used as a luxury masque treatment too, so apply and leave on for 30 minutes before removing. It is a gentle daily cleanser and 100% natural. The ingredients include activated bamboo charcoal (hence the colour), biodegradable jojoba beads (the exfoliation) and a blend of aromatherapy oils (accounting for the lovely smell). I couldn't use too near my eyes so had to be careful. I did find that the scent remained and along with the facial oil I found this was very relaxing throughout the evening. I would use this again, I liked it a lot. Skin Nutrients Facial OilAfter cleansing I then used the Skin Nutrients Facial Oil, not much is needed, it feels quite thick and is easy to apply and one dropper is generous enough for the whole face. It absorbs quickly and easily and is very moisturising. With other oils I have tried I have found I needed an additional moisturiser but this one was sufficient on its own. It provides a natural barrier for anti ageing benefits. I only used it at night. I am not sure it would be a suitable base for make-up. Again, I loved it, I loved the scent, I would say it was citrusy. Morning & Night SupplementsI only had a 7-day supply so very hard to comment on the longer term benefits. But you are instructed to take 3 of the morning softgels and 3 of the evening softgels which seems quite a lot but I managed to keep this up for the full 7 days. The softgels are small and easy to take. They claim to help support healthy looking skin, strong hair and nails, support general wellness, maintain vitality and reduce tiredness. I have been sleeping very well this week - who knows?! But I would need to take them for longer to really be able to comment on the results. Haha I thought the same! It wasn't difficult to wash off at all though x 28/11/2019 12:10:12 pm
It's a super brand, I was really pleased with the results, although like you a little to early to find the results of the soft gel supplements. I'm rather liking the products though. x Nice post Michelle. x
