Many many years ago when I was flat sharing with a friend it became quite a joke just how many pairs of jeans I had. This particular friend is now my lovely GBFF and he still laughs at my jeans purchases and shopping habits. Embarrassing! But how difficult is it to find the most flattering jeans for women? I remember going to Gap years ago and being very impressed with their wash and wear return policy. So if you wore them, washed them and found you didn't really like the fit then you could return them for a refund - is this still possible? But very often we wear a new pair of jeans for a few hours or a day and find they are not as perfect as we thought they were in the fitting room. I have spent a lot of money on jeans and I have spent very little too. My favoured high end brand is 7 for all Mankind but I have tried Paige and Citizens of Humanity too. From the High Street I like French Connection Rebound denim. But they all have their downside too - not quite the right rise, either too high or too low and they always need to be shortened to the right length for me. I love jeans though, they are my go to 'mum at home' style, I can dress them up for evenings out or dress them down for casual days and relaxing. I love dark indigo denim, I love waxed coated jeans, black jeans, white jeans and generally I prefer skinny jeans. A few months ago I was contacted by Danielli Boutique, an independent ladies online boutique who are the sole online UK retailer for Amazing Woman Jeans. Sarah asked if I would like to try a pair of the jeans, report back and do a review on my blog. Now jeans are a funny one as quite often you need to try a selection on to get the right size and fit so I was a bit worried that just sending one pair might not be successful. But Sarah assured me they are true to size and are known to be an 'amazing' fit. She sent me a pair of classic indigo denim, skinny fit, ankle skimmer jeans in a Size 10 and assured me that there are many converts from 7 for all Mankind once they try Amazing Woman Jeans. And guess what, she was absolutely right. They are indeed amazing and they fitted perfectly. They are a high waisted jean but not too high. They are skinny but not too skinny. And for me the ankle grazer length is spot on - okay they are not ankle grazers on me but they are just the right length, do not need to be shortened and I can roll them up if I want to (for reference I am 5 ft 2). I am a now convert and after wearing them for a few days I messaged to ask what other colours the ankle grazer comes in so I am now planning to purchase a black pair. Praise indeed. I have been wearing them on and off over a couple of weeks now, They arrived in the summer so to really test them I waited until September/October as the lovely warm weather has seen me mostly wearing skirts and dresses. But I have styled them a few different ways to show you and they also wash very well too. Sarah can order different sizes and styles so if you don't see exactly what you want on the website then do message her. They come in velvet too which I know was a big trend last winter and are fabulous for Christmas and New Year party events but can also be worn day to day. There are lots of different colours, indigo, navy, black, white, slate, dusty pink .... and different lengths available. There are these skinny ankle skimmers but also a straight leg style which is their most popular style. Danielli Boutique are offering free P&P on all orders using the code FREEFF. They will also help you with exchanges should you need to try a different size. This really is a fabulous collection of superb fitting jeans for real women with curvy, shapely and feminine figures. They lift, hold and shape! They are British made and are an extremely soft denim, the higher waist styling offers tummy control and the long length gives a sleek and smooth look. They have a slight stretch (98% cotton and 2% lycra (not elastane). They really are the most flattering jeans for women! I would definitely recommend giving them a try!
