A few months ago I embarked on a plan to upgrade my home! I don't need to redecorate everywhere and I don't need to buy any large furniture items like sofas. But I am keen to have a bit of an accessories update, and so with the help of an interior designer, I have been slowly planning. Last year we decorated our bedroom and ensuite bathroom but it needed some wall art! This was a simple place to start my interior design project and I am sharing with you today what I chose from Poster Store and explaining how easy it was to choose and buy posters, prints and frames online. And further down I am sharing a massive 55% Black Friday week discount for Poster Store! This is a gifted blog post. Affordable and beautiful posters and framesI really admired my sisters newly extended and upgraded home and especially loved all her posters and inspiring quotes, she has such an eye for choosing great design. I on the other hand struggle a bit with the overwhelm of choice available, so I needed a simple solution! And it had to be affordable. Poster Store have a massive selection of posters and frames to inspire you and all with a Scandinavian style design that are both beautiful and affordable. They have an extensive guide for the perfect gallery wall. Select Gallery Wall Inspiration and scroll through their suggestions. Pick the styles you love, you can play around with frame colour, or swap one poster for a different one, or change the sizes, all very easily. A Gallery Wall tailor made for your home! Poster Store have lots of different categories to suit everyone and they release a new poster collection every Tuesday. Select from categories such as photography, fashion, animals, kitchen or mindfulness, for example. Once you are happy with your poster choices, you can then select the picture frames you want to suit your own interior. There is black, oak, silver, walnut and more, as well as poster hangers. The Gallery Wall examples on Poster Store will also give you ideas on how to display your own posters in your home. I really love the typography and quotes category! Simple and inspiring. Wall art for my bathroomOur bedroom has now been upgraded to a more neutral colour palette and we are about to have new carpet fitted throughout the house. I was keen to have some new wall decoration to add interest and fun to our ensuite bathroom. I had already added the shelf with a simple quote 'Keep Life Simple' but really wanted new wall art. I chose the relaxing Beach Seashell Poster (I love being by the sea) and a typography quote to complement it, All You Need is Love Poster. The beige tones of both posters work really well with the neutral tones in my bedroom and bathroom.. Then I couldn't resist a cheeky quote so the Let's Get Naked typography poster had to be included! Wall art for my kitchenI've not decided exactly where these will go yet! We have been gradually making a few changes to our open plan conservatory, entrance area and kitchen and placing some orders for furniture which unfortunately won't be delivered until later in January. But I am hoping to at least have some new accessories in place for the conservatory before Christmas as it is where we celebrate most of the day, we have a big oak dining table and this is where our main Christmas Tree is. I love the traditional sage green colour I have in my kitchen and my conservatory is going to have some more muted accessories as well as some sage green tones, although I do have a big statement sofa! And of course surrounded by woodland the green complements and feels like I am bringing the outside in! I have chosen Home Sweet Home, Good Things Take Time and a botanical print, the Eucalyptus Branch Poster. I love the typography to remind me every day that good things really do take time, and I have to be patient! Having quote prints on your walls turns your home into a place of inspiration and creativity. Then finally some fun, the Bon Appetite typography poster from the Kitchen category at Poster Store. I can't wait to get my new wall decoration up! A bit more about Poster StoreMy wall art posters and frames arrived carefully packaged and delivered by UPS, you do need to put the posters in the frames yourself, but it is very easy. One frame was unfortunately slightly damaged, but they exchanged it really promptly with no problems. Poster Store are keen to contribute to minimising their environmental impact with their production methods. Their paper and printing partner have the relevant certifications to ensure that the wood used for their posters comes from responsibly managed forests. They also use short transport routes and smart logistics to minimise their carbon footprint. Trying to manage my little interior design project alongside all my other day to day jobs (like my blog) is time-consuming and challenging so I am really grateful to Charlotte from Minshell Designs for helping me. I have a fantastic Black Friday discount code for Poster Store to share with you. Use the code 55MICHELLE to get an amazing 55% off all posters and frames (please note, this offer is not combinable with any other discount campaigns). The code is valid from Thursday 25th November to Thursday 2nd December 2021. Love from Michelle xx Disclaimer: Poster Store gifted me a voucher to spend online with them and I was able to choose this selection of posters and frames, I was under no obligation to post and all words and opinions are my own.
