Time for a summer blogging break ....

Every year I take a little break from my blog, usually if I am away in the sun!  Or like last year when my daughter was starting at university and I wanted to spend time with her.  This year it is for different reasons, if only I was away in the sun, but I need to deal with some personal issues ... I am okay but I am needed elsewhere for a few weeks.  And my husband and I then have a late summer break in Cornwall to look forward to.  I will be back in September with renewed energy and enthusiasm and I hope a better outlook with regard to the current Covid-19 situation.  Isn't it all so contradictory and confusing?

I've got some lovely posts to write which I am looking forward to planning and researching and I do love my writing and the time I spend on my blog.  I am very proud of my little space and I love to get feedback from my followers, I have always said if I help just one person with a tiny nugget of information or to find the perfect dress then I am happy.

Flattering swimwear ... which reminds me, did you see the photos in the press of Colleen Rooney looking fabulous in her selection of swimsuits, she is embracing the all-in-one this year and looking gorgeous.

My pretty white dress is from H&M this season but now unavailable in white.  But it is available in a few sizes in other colours here, it is a crinkle cotton, really light and has adjustable straps.  I wear it with a bikini under it so I don't worry about straps or that it is a bit see-through (it's not too bad because of the volume).

Right I'm off then, stay in touch, I will be posting occasionally on Instagram (grid and stories).

Below: On Saturday we had our annual family BBQ at my sisters house, it was a good day, and we loved all being together especially as the weather was perfect, I wore this previous season Hush skirt which is a favourite - oh and the pic on the right is me with a brother-in-law, I just thought it was a fun / silly pic to share!
