The only problem with being confined to the house due to feeling so unwell has been that I 'need' to use the time to browse online and with all the retailers bringing out new spring lines it is very very tempting! So what has caught my eye!? Hush new season .... this colour block jumper and this navy silk blouse. Both ideal for transitional dressing as spring approaches. But also still a few good pieces in the Hush sale - how about this dress that I wouldn't be able to wear when it is really cold but it could work as the weather gets milder? Reduced to £40 and this soft white shirt - now I love the layered look but very rarely get it right or feel comfortable but this one might just work for me under a cashmere knit? I'd been wondering about this very bright green cashmere jumper from Marks & Spencer then I saw another blogger wearing it (layered with a white shirt, see above)! and it did look very stylish so I might have to give it a go. I can't seem to use the photos online today so here are some snaps of my screen! Then this navy stripe cashmere jumper caught my eye as it is navy and not black which will work well for spring. Now as you know I treated myself recently to an amazing Louis Vuitton handbag but there are times when a cross body bag is necessary - I have a few but I fancied a statement bag and one that was large enough to be useful but not too large (yeah I know I am a bit fussy) anyway Aurora London came to my attention via Instagram and their Gigi bag could just fit the bill for me and at £95 it won't break the bank (10% introductory discount if you sign up for newsletters too) so I have ordered it in red - there are lots of amazing colours and you can have it personalised with your initials monogrammed onto it - I chose not to as I often sell my bags on.
Now I think my husband will be glad that I am recovering as the credit card has taken a bit of a bashing this last week! Love Michelle xx Some of my haul has arrived so look out for Instagram photos and a blog update on what I liked and what went back!

Hi michelle. Its so "dangerous" having time to scan the internet when you're stuck at home. I hope you are feeling better. I bought the red aurora bag. Its lovely. A great size and the strap is adjustable to wear cross body comfortably. J crew also sell a similar bag which I bought in autumn in black that has an outside pocket for a phone. .you can never have too many - every colour required when it comes to bags. The Gucci is nice but not worth the extra £600 in my opinion. J xx

Hi Michelle, hope you’re feeling better, love the red bag, I think its really difficult choosing a cross body bag that doesn’t look too bulky but has enough room for all the handbag essentials, going to take a look tonight thanks x

I totally agree, I have often ended up with them too small then I go off to London and can't fit my sunglasses, keys etc in and you have to swap to a small purse or sometimes I just put my credit cards in and a bit of cash but this aurora one is a really good size without being bulky! x

Hi Nicky, lovely to hear from you, enjoy Dubai! We are keenly watching the ski resorts as there is so much snow this year a lot are having to close on some days. I love all the bits from Hush but when I have tried their jeans I've not got on with them either, I still love my 7 for all Mankind but they are expensive. French Connection rebound denim is worth a look though. You got some good bargains then. I so admire those that seem to have that effortless style, I still have good and bad days LOL!!! Michelle x
