Back in March I was invited to attend the Spring / Summer range launch with Vionic Shoes, my new favourite shoe brand - is there any other!? These are comfortable shoes - but they are also very stylish shoes. And with spring now firmly on its way, I am loving the slow move from boots to trainers and being braver with wearing skirts and dresses with trainers too - there is nothing stopping us women over 50 embracing the trends too. I chose the Codie in white to review - available online here for £120 and also comes in taupe, pewter and black. I spotted this style at the Autumn/Winter launch event (you can see my review here) and loved them then. So when I was asked to choose another pair I had to give them a go! Like all Vionic Shoes these are just so super comfortable and designed to take care of your feet! But look amazing too. I have styled them casually with black and ivory in both photographs, I love the monochrome simplicity of the style. I can wear them all day every day without the need to wear them in. The elastic strap keeps them securely in place on your foot with no slipping but they are also very easy to take on and off. Wearing them is like walking on cushions. I never bother to wear socks / trainer socks with my Vionic's as I just don't need to, for comfort or warmth. Although the Codie was gifted to me, I have to say I have since purchased another pair as I love Vionic shoes so much, look out for me wearing the Keke on my outfit photos on Instagram too. Above: My black coated pull on leggings are £26 are from Next and my black and ivory gingham shirt is £69 from Mint Velvet. And I will just finish off with a few photos from the launch event - you can see more on my stories on Instagram too. Vionic do a fantastic men's range and we were treated to some very nice young men modelling them for us. It was a brilliant evening, with a little too much wine, and lots of fun meeting other bloggers and stylists - some of whom were on the catwalk as part of the new #unstoppablestories campaign, they did so well. Thank you Vionic for inviting me! Love from Michelle xx Disclaimer: these shoes were gifted to me by Vionic as a thank you for attending their launch event. They asked me to post about them on my social media and write a short blog review about the event and the styles I loved. All opinions and words are my own.
