Did you know that UK sales of organic beauty and wellbeing products have increased from £30.1m per year in 2011 to £120.2m per year in 2020! That's a massive increase. I will be honest organic isn't something I am particularly focussed on but there is no doubt that it is growing in our consciousness and that we need to be more aware of protecting our planet and doing what we can as individuals.
Nourish London is a British organic skincare company offering scientifically effective, organic, vegan and cruelty free skincare powered by ingredients from nature. And this September they are 10 years old and to celebrate they have launched a Limited Edition 'Celebrating 10 Years of Green Beauty' Collection featuring five of their best selling products from the past 10 years.
And they sent me one to try out!
This is a gifted blog post.
Green Beauty Collection from Nourish London
The set contains
The Kale Cleanser is colour changing, apply to damp skin, massage in, watch it turn green and rinse off with a muslin cloth. The Antioxidant Peptide Mist is a spray on formula to instantly protect, hydrate and calm the skin. Follow with the Serum for a powerful anti-ageing cocktail, and finally finish with the Argan Renew Moisturiser to dramatically increase hydration. Treat yourself on a Self-Care Sunday with the Probiotic Multi-Mineral Repair Mask (2 included) to restore healthy skin. Relax and enjoy!
Partnering with Freeset Global
What really caught my eye when the set arrived though was the cute pouch it is packaged in. More than just a stitched piece of fabric, it tells a story of freedom.
For hundreds of women who were trapped in India's sex trade it brings freedom from a life that robbed them off dignity and hope.
Freeset is in the business of restoring what has been stolen. Women are given the opportunity to choose a new job and regain control of their lives in a caring community. Making this product is part of a woman's journey to freedom. To her friends and neighbours among the thousands still trapped in prostitution, she is a symbol of hope.
Nourish London have partnered with Freeset to create fair trade gift bags handmade from locally sourced organic cotton and these little bags are used for all their starter kits and for the beauty collection.

The founder of Nourish London Dr Pauline Hill, explains how organic and vegan products have changed over the past 10 years.
“It’s quite astonishing how much has changed in the organic and vegan formulation world in 10 years. Things that seemed impossible to achieve have become inevitable. The development and availability of more and more suitable ingredients and increasingly sophisticated formulations is great to see and probably explains why more and more consumers are looking for the Soil Association and the Vegan Trademark logo on the products they support.”
What is Organic September?
The Soil Association explains ...
In the face of climate change, diet related ill-health and widespread decline in wildlife, the need to change our food systems has never been greater.
Organic September is a month-long campaign to raise awareness of the many benefits of organic food and farming, which include:
Supporting biodiversity and wildlife.
Helping to combat climate change.
The highest standards of animal welfare.
Reduced exposure to pesticides.
Food as it should be, and food you can trust.
100% vegan, natural, organic skincare
I loved this set from Nourish London and am really enjoying using it, it feels amazing on my skin, looks good on my dressing table and would make a lovely gift and ideal for travel plus I love the collaboration with Freesat! Check out Nourish London and their multiple awards on their website.
Nourish London skincare formulations are 100% vegan, made with natural organic ingredients, alcohol (ethanol) free & cruelty-free.
