I have been admiring camel coats forever! But I wanted a good quality one and they just always seemed to be out of my price range. In the end I threw caution to the wind, stopped buying other bits and pieces I didn't really need and treated myself to this Jaeger Boyfriend Coat in Camel and at £320 it was a huge investment purchase. But along with my Louis Vuitton handbag, my better jeans and my cashmere knitwear I felt it was worth it. I wore it for the first time when I went into London for a photo shoot with the Daily Mail (and you can now see the published article here). I kept it really simple with some animal print, the Jess Arrow Pendant from Toria Lee Accessories and my Louis Vuitton handbag. My black jeans are the Signature Skinny Jeans Karen Millen, my boots are the Keera from Moda in Pelle and my jumper is black cashmere from Uniqlo. I am wearing a size 8, being a boyfriend style it is slightly generous but I am in love with the fit, style, shape, feel ... it felt wonderful wearing it! The quality feels amazing. My plan is to get better at choosing investment items and less fast fashion. And I am currently trying to have a No Spend February. Which means I can save a few pennies and possibly invest in the Gucci belt I have had my eye on for a while. Love from Michelle xx Above: Coated skinny jeans are from Next, blouse is previous season from All Saints and my animal print scarf is from Sweet Bea. Wow, wow and wow, I love all your bits, and I need to take a leaf out of your book! I end up buying lots of cheap pieces, that don't last, don't wash well and look awful, at least with these gorgeous pieces you'll get the benefit for years to come. Thanks for sharing and I popped over to see you in the Daily Mail - well done you look fabulous! Jacqui Mummabstylish

Thanks so much Jacqui. I love 'new' things but cheap doesn't stay new for long, I definitely much prefer something with a good cut and quality that lasts, but I still make mistakes and I still mix it up! Michelle x

Hi. You say it is roomy...I am wondering if you are on the small side of their 8 or upper end of their 8? I am upper en of 12 and wonder if 14 would be a better choice. SOS!
