Did you know that 80% of bra-wearers are wearing the wrong size bra? 80%?! Thats really high! But I suppose if we are always in a rush, grabbing a bra as we fly through the High Street or ordering online, we don't stop and think about it. Nudea is a beautiful new sustainable lingerie brand founded by two women with an aim to create amazing underwear that fits, and is stylish and comfortable. To do your measure, wear a lightweight soft bra or bralette if you can, something without too much padding. Step One - Measure your Underband First you wrap the tape around your body under your bust, flat against your ribcage, literally just under your bra band and thread the tape through the gold ring (photo on the left). You then pull the tape back tightly and you will see your band size in the coloured zone at the gold ring - the fit tape should fit snugly - as most of the support comes from the underband, not the straps. Step Two - Measure you Cup Flip the tape over and you will see the torso icon in the centre of the tape (photo on the right) - place this between your boobs and pull the tape across the fullest part of your largest boob, measure to the end of the fleshy part of your boob. Then simply match your underband number from Step One to the cup size zone in Step Two to find your fitted bra size! Nudea recommend measuring yourself at least every 6 months - the average woman will wear six different bra sizes in her lifetime. My recommended bra size using the Nudea Fit TapeWhen I measured at home with the Nudea Fit Tape my size came out as 34C. When I used the Virtual Fitting Room my size was 32D and my sister size is 34C. As I had been measured fairly recently I knew that 32D was correct and I understood the sister size too - you can read more about your sister size here.
