The first day of spring, sunshine, daffodils, dog walks, lighter evenings, the vaccine, summer on its way .... so many reasons for optimism. Spring brings new life and I for one can't wait for a new beginning! On the first day of spring, I have been out for a walk and trying out my new 'wellibobs' from Hotter. I didn't even know that the little short wellington boots had their own name! Did you? They are referred to as wellibobs by some brands and I rather like it! Spring is natures way of saying 'let's party' Robin Williams - looking for spring quotes I came across this one and it really is so appropriate this year! Back to my walk and wellibobs! They are the Blossom Wellingtons from Hotter and they are this years special edition to support Marie Curie. They have been designed with the iconic Marie Curie daffodil in a partnership with Hotter and for every pair sold, £10 will be donated to the charity. And they really do represent 'the sunshine on a rainy day' with the bright yellow detailing against the navy sole and toe-bumper. And as with all Hotter footwear this pair are super comfy, striking and stylish. I wore them out for a walk around a local park, village and woodland. We enjoyed the daffodils, the sunshine and exploring the church yard. And the dogs loved going somewhere different too! These little short wellies are sturdy and have an excellent grip, they are perfect for spring walks! I think I will be wearing them a lot! They are extremely easy to pull on so great for a impromptu wander in the garden too. It was good to discover a new place to walk right on our doorstep. And the blue skies and yellow daffodils helped show off the blue and yellow of these gorgeous wellibobs. Outfit details .... I am layered up with a lightweight down jacket from Uniqlo and my new gilet is from Massimo Dutti, my jeans are the Gia skinny jeans from Hobbs, I have the petite fit. My jumper is previous season from Hobbs but I love the new season Daniella cotton blend stripe jumper here. My cream thermal socks are from Marks & Spencer. And of course my cute wellington boots are the Blossom from Hotter. A photo heavy post today! It was so pretty being outside on such a stunning day that it felt appropriate to share the optimism! I will leave you with a few snaps of my garden pots ... Happy first week of spring! I got my vaccine on Friday, it was all very quick and easy, I was in and out in less than ten minutes. I was very lucky and have suffered no significant side effects, my arm ached a little that is all. Love from Michelle xx Disclaimer: my boots were a gift from Hotter, I was under no obligation to post about them on my blog and all words and opinions are my own.
