Who doesn't love Trinny? I remember her and Susannah way back when on What Not to Wear and loved tuning in every week. That, along with The Clothes Show, was my first foray into loving fashion. Then Trinny burst onto our instagram feeds with her fun styling and beauty posts and unique enthusiasm, energy and sassiness. How does she do it??! And now we are all loving her make up brand Trinny London. When I shared on my insta-stories that I was trying it out for a blog review, my son's girlfriend messaged to say she absolutely loves Trinny and her make up brand and it struck me as a huge sign of success that Trinny London appeals to all ages, us 50 something's and a 20 year old student.
I was really delighted when Trinny London got in touch to ask if I'd like to choose a few items from their make up and skincare range and do a blog review! Trinny Woodall launched Trinny London back in October 2017 with just her 'stack' concept but it quickly evolved. I went for a consultation at their new beauty counter at Fenwick on Bond Street in 2018 and loved my purchases and they became a firm favourite in my make up bag. So to have a chance to add to my existing items and try out even more of the ever-expanding Trinny London range was fantastic! This is a gifted post and contains affiliate links. A few weeks ago I was invited to experience a professional makeup lesson with talented makeup artist Joanne Frye, who runs Make-Up Artists 4 TV, an agency specialising in the supply of makeup artists to the media. Joanne Frye is a BAFTA nominated makeup artist who works with a professional team of TV, film and editorial makeup artists, hair designers and stylists. Hugely experienced and in high demand, Joanne has led a fast paced and exciting life but a cancer diagnosis in 2017 has resulted in a need to reassess her life and slow down a little bit. Although still running her successful agency, her personal life has undergone a bit of an overhaul to enable her to lead a quieter, calmer, more stress free life with less travel.
Make-Up Artists 4 You is her exciting new venture, based in Beaconsfield, so she can be close to her three children and two fur babies! She has also just turned 50 and we bonded over midlife chatter! Make-Up Artists 4 You offers one-to-one makeup tutorials either online or in person. Have you ever really mastered the perfect makeup look that you love? I know I haven't! Do you feel like need a bit of a midlife and post-menopause confidence boost? Or maybe you have a special occasion coming up ... read on to find out more! You may have seen on my Instagram in late November that I attended the launch for the new EMFace treatment at the S-Thetics Clinic in Beaconsfield. EMFace is a revolutionary non-invasive facial treatment that uses both synchronised RF and HIFESTM energies to offer less wrinkles and more lift without needles! EMFace from BTL Aesthetics is taking the beauty world by storm and revolutionising facial aesthetics. It is a very exciting new skincare treatment and S-Thetics in Beaconsfield is one of the first UK clinics to be offering this technology to their patients. And I am very excited to have been invited by S-Thetics to experience and review a full course of EMFace - but before I can go ahead with my EMFace course it is important to prepare my skin and get it in absolute tip top condition so that I can achieve the best results and get the radiant skin I dream of! I will be sharing my skin rejuvenation process on my blog - starting with skin analysis, facials and skincare. This is a gifted blog post. S-Thetics is a doctor led aesthetic clinic in Beaconsfield Old Town.
I love the uncomplicated and fabulous, cruelty free and vegan friendly makeup from Code Beautiful - and this year Code Beautiful are celebrating 10 years of helping women like us feel naturally beautiful everyday. I don't do drawers full of makeup products or spend hours at makeup counters, I don't wear heavy makeup or fuss about constantly touching up! And I find the range of colours from the big brands gives me too much choice and it just confuses me. The most important thing for me is a fresh look and easy routine, with buildable coverage I can add to for special occasions.
With fine lines and mature skin, I am well aware that the simpler the better, and I love the makeup tips from Code Beautiful, they regularly share makeup techniques to flatter older skin with a natural look being the top priority! Code Beautiful was founded in 2014 by two sisters, Sarah and Emma. They were fed up with products that over-promised and under-delivered so they started by asking women what they wanted, listening to feedback and then creating the right products. No trends, no hype, no nonsense, just products that perform and enhance our natural beauty. So I won't complicate my blog post either ... I will go straight into telling you about my favourite products from Code Beautiful. Use my code FIFTY20 for 20% off EVERYTHING at Code Beautiful.
