I was so excited to be asked if I'd like to review eyebrow tattooing at Tracie Giles in Knightsbridge, London! I wasn't an over-plucker in my younger days, in fact I didn't really pluck at all but as we get older and go through menopause we do end up with thinner brows and my eyebrows were looking a bit sparse. I have had a regular eyebrow shape and tint for quite a few years but the tint doesn't last that long so mostly I relied on makeup products to create natural-looking brows, enhance their shape and fill in the gaps! I am certainly not a fan of a solid look and did not want anything other than very natural defined brows and as close to my own (younger) eyebrows as possible. I had semi-permanent eyeliner a few years ago and loved the low maintenance result, and it had been on my dream to do list to look into microblading for a while but I never seemed to get around to it. I am so glad I got the opportunity to try eyebrow tattooing at Tracie Giles, I am delighted with the result and the low maintenance look of my new professionally tattooed eyebrows! This is a gifted blog post. Above: after two appointments at Tracie Giles, my new powder brows!

Marion Assuied is a busy woman, she is the former CEO of premium cosmetics brand, By Terry, and she has just launched new natural skincare brand INUR, as well as running a busy home with three children ... how does she do it? Having reached burnout back in 2019 Marion realised something needed to change, her stress levels were through the roof and her lifestyle and schedule were crazy! She completely overhauled her routines, and started to practice yoga and meditation, then saw a nutritionist and overhauled her diet. The result was more energy and more serenity.
But this new focus on healthy living made Marion realise that we spend hours focusing on the health of our inner body and mind but what if we gave as much attention to our skin? Lockdowns offered a chance to slow down further and develop her idea for a new skincare brand and INUR was born. Skin is the largest organ of our body and our face is the most exposed area. Marion worked closely with a nutritionist to improve her own skin health after focusing on her body had given such life changing results. INUR is a natural skincare brand - backed by nature and science - to help us overhaul our nutrition and lifestyle routines so we can look after ourselves both on the inside and on the outside. INUR only uses natural and clean ingredients to provide the best skincare products using aloe vera and matcha from Jeju Island - a UNESCO world heritage site with clean winds, intense sunlight, mineral water from volcanic rocks and land with optimal conditions for plant growth. This means that the aloe vera and matcha grown on Jeju Island demonstrate the best efficacy to maximise the efficiency of the INUR skincare products. The aloe vera and matcha is then combined with prebiotics and probiotics, all rigorously tested to ensure they are the most clinically proven super biotics available. This is a gifted blog post. When I posted about HRT gels on my blog a few weeks ago I didn't expect such a response and reading your emails and comments it made me appreciate just how us women do need each other to talk to - then my more recent Instagram post abut my own blip with HRT was also popular, anyway .... thank you for getting in touch, thank you for sharing your stories and thank you for being kind about my recent dip in oestrogen and subsequent return of symptoms! The good news is things are slowly improving! Anyway ... Not wishing to be too negative but sometimes another menopause challenge to overcome is maintaining healthy hair! Hair loss, hair thinning, hair breakage, brittle hair, and a general change in our hair texture comes along during peri menopause and we need to change our hair care routine. By the way, there are many other factors that can cause hair loss in women. I recommend reading this article on Hairguard.com if you're interested in knowing more. I've always had fine hair and it is neither curly hair or straight hair, just a sort of in-between wave prone to frizzy hair days. As a teen I did suffer from excess oil but nowadays it is much drier and seems to need more moisture added. And my hair is much thinner and prone to breakage. I've dabbled with hair extensions (just at the side) but didn't really like the feeling of them in my hair. So a few months ago I set about finding out more about my new hair type and what I can do to encourage healthy hair growth and get it back to tip top condition! I've been on a very determined mission! This blog post contains gifted products and affiliate links. Above: my jumpsuit is from JolieMoi (low stock - but similar styles available)
Nano CellCare is a completely new anti ageing treatment to the UK and I have recently been visiting Dorota's Lifestyle Studio in Chiswick to try it out and learn more about this natural skin rejuvenation treatment. Not only can it work on the obvious outer signs of ageing, like fine lines and wrinkles, but it can also target our inner health and help with general fatigue and discomfort from pain and inflammation. It is a simple, short, non-invasive and completely painless treatment. Nano CellCare is the first treatment of it's kind to offer the possibility of slowing down the clock of ageing to look after your skin tissue, muscles and tendons. But how!?
