Hello! Another month gone by and I am now feeling a bit cheated, where is summer? Yes we've had some brighter days but I've not really done the sitting outside much or BBQ fun yet. I am really hoping for a change in July as we are off to Cornwall then Anglesey for a few days. I am delighted about the new Health Minister, no comment on the circumstances, but I am encouraged to read that Sajid Javid has said 19th July 2021 will be the end of the restrictions in the UK and we have to learn to live with Covid. I will be ready to burn my masks, I have hated wearing them! Now when can the world travel again? I've got a wardrobe full of summer dresses and swimwear I want to wear! Here is a little peak at what I have been up to in June 'being fifty and fab' .... Above: this is the Essential Cami from Hush and I love it! Fabulous tummy flattering shape and looks great with my French Connection white jeans. Bag is previous season from Powder at The Wendy House. When I started looking at my photos to choose what to share on my 'being fifty and fab' post, I realised we hadn't done too badly for sun and maybe my complaining was a bit unfair!!?? We had our wedding anniversary lunch at Cliveden - and it was sunny and we sat outside! I visited my daughter in London and it was sunny and we sat outside! However, this weekend just gone, I was in Southend for a night and it was windy and rainy, although not all the time and we did manage to walk along the seafront, get fish n chips on the pier, and sit outside for a chilled glass of rosé so maybe not so bad after all! My sisters and I took dad to Southend for one night, he grew up there and loves a trip down memory lane plus it was an excuse for us all to get together and escape routine for a couple of days. And to prove it's not all glam outfits and perfect photos .... left on a very windswept Southend Pier and right at Leigh-on-Sea for a wet walk! Back to sunnier photos ... I loved my two nights in Balham, London with my daughter. She is training to be a Norland Nanny and this was her first residential placement, it should have been 6 weeks but covid changed things around and it was only 4 but I was delighted to be able to spend some time with her and even got invited to join her and her friends for dinner and drinks on the Saturday night. We went to Vicinity overlooking Tower Bridge! I wore my new black jersey ruffled jumpsuit from Mint Velvet (see below), photo taken at home as I didn't get any good enough photos on our night out! For our Cliveden lunch we tried out the Astor Grill, it has a fabulous outdoor patio area, covered and with heaters. No spectacular view like the main restaurant but excellent food and service. I wore a Zara dress from my wardrobe and loved the warm day and wander in the gardens after lunch. My hat is the Gilly Hat from Creative DeZigns. My handbag is from Amelia Rose Accessories. I really wanted to share details of this jumpsuit on my blog, it is from the Cap Sleeve Culotte Jumpsuit in Red Animal from Jolie Moi and they have a massive selection of jumpsuits in striking prints. They are a fantastic price point and they are a stretchy jersey fabric so fit and flatter, feel comfortable, don't crease, travel well and the wrap style and tie belts accentuate our curves. They also have a wide selection of maxi dresses that drape and skim and feel soft and easy to wear. They are not a natural, eco-friendly fabric, they are mostly polyester and elastane but then they are not priced with that in mind. A couple of products to mention that have been sent to me ... I love the new Farmologie range from Childs Farm. They sent me a Discovery Set in Moro Orange to try out, it has a selection of 4 of their body quenching, skin soothing and award winning products - moisturiser, body wash, bath soak and hand cream. The packaging is 100% sustainable and the colours are fun and eye-catching. Plus I loved the scent - moro orange! In trials, 98% of testers with dry, sensitive, or eczema prone skin agreed that these products contained no irritation! I also got to try out a full size moisturiser. I am a big fan of an orange scent (or taste) so loved this range so much. The other product that was sent to me to try out recently was a brain-health supplement called Noggin. If you feel constantly distracted, find it hard to focus and remember every day facts then Noggin might be useful. Dr Clara Russell is a GP and she launched Noggin to help us improve our attention span. What I love about Noggin is the amount of educational information on their website. It isn't just about taking a supplement, Dr Russell and her team have given us so much information about how we can improve our brain health and looking after our 'noggin' on their website. She shares the building blocks to good brain health, take a look! Currently they have two products, Noggin Pause to help you relax and Noggin Oomph, for when your get up and go has got up and gone! I've not tried them yet, but now I have researched, written about them and shared, I am inspired to add them to my daily routine! Not a long 'being fifty and fab' post from me this month as my time is a bit tight, with my daughter home I seem to have a busy schedule! We are off to Bath tomorrow to pack up her Year 2 house and bring her belongings home to store as the Year 3 house isn't available until the end of August! Some blog posts to take a look at if you missed them - I did a review of new brand Saint and Sofia and featured a lovely seasonless outfit that can be adapted for spring, summer, autumn and mid-winter too I guess! The skirt is such a swishy style and the tee is really good quality. And read my life coaching tips, I did an excellent series of life coaching sessions with Siân Winslade recently and my blog post talks you through the process and tells you how I got on! And if you are going to manage a hot holiday destination now that some locations are opening up, check out this years swimwear post where I feature cup-sized flattering styles from Fantasie Lingerie. Have a happy July everyone, I will be blogging less during July and August, catching up on blog admin as well as having time off for holidays but I will be back in September! Find me over on Instagram for holiday updates and chatter. Love from Michelle xx Disclaimer: this post contains some gifted items and affiliate links.

You have so many cute dresses for summer! it's a shame you haven't had a lot of sunny days (and one very wet day!) but nice that the weather overall hasn't been too bad and you've been able to get out and enjoy it :)
