Collaborative Post | It’s never too early to start planning your next holiday. Indeed, there is something undeniably exciting and comforting about sitting down at your laptop or curling up with your phone and planning your next big adventure. It gives you something to look forward to and can make the daily grind seem that much more worthwhile. With that in mind, we’ll be taking you through a few of our favourite vacation ideas to get those juices flowing. The Lake District (Photo by Sam Barber on Unsplash) StaycationsIf the pandemic taught us anything it’s that we don’t necessarily need to get on a plane to have a rewarding holiday. There is plenty to do closer to home in the UK. From the majestic vistas of the Lake District to the cosy beaches of Wales, there are hundreds of options to consider. Perhaps the most obvious benefit of a UK holiday is that the UK itself is so small. You could quite comfortably drive from one end to the other in a single afternoon and see so much. In fact, one of the most popular staycation ideas that gained traction just after the pandemic was the campervan holiday. While you will need to save up for a while to afford a decent camper and you will also need campervan insurance, the freedom of being able to set off whenever you desire without worrying about booking a hotel is something quite special indeed. Short haulA European vacation for a few days or even a whole week could be just the ticket if you’re looking for something cost-effective that’s not going to take you out of the office for too long. Europe is also an incredibly eclectic continent with everything from ski holidays to beach holidays and everything in between. Greece, Spain and Portugal are enduringly popular destinations for the summer months, as the weather is generally in the high 20s and the locals are well-versed in catering to tourists. But if you’ve already sampled the best of the Mediterranean, why not consider Eastern Europe? Sweden, Finland and the Norwegian fjords are all stunning and that’s before we even mention Italy. We truly are blessed to live so close to so many incredible countries. Heathrow is an international hub that flies to most far-flung locations you could name so whatever you wish to see or do, there’s a long haul holiday perfect for you.
A family holiday to Disney World in Florida perhaps? Or maybe you’re looking for a romantic getaway to Southeast Asia? Or a holiday of a lifetime to Japan exploring the temples and taking in the insanity that is Tokyo? The world is your oyster and deciding where to go next is half the fun. So, feel free to take your time! Disclaimer: this is a collaborative post Comments are closed.
