Collaborative Post | Vinyl flooring has become a popular choice for homeowners all over the world. Its durability, low maintenance, and affordability make it perfect for budget-conscious families. However, it can be challenging to choose the right vinyl flooring for your home with so many options available in the market. Consider your lifestyle Before purchasing Luvanto flooring, consider your lifestyle. Do you have children or pets? Do you have a high-traffic area in your home? Knowing these things will help you determine the type of vinyl flooring you need. If you have children or pets, go for thicker vinyl flooring as it will withstand constant abuse. If you are looking for something for high-traffic areas, choose a durable material with a wear layer. Decide on your design Today's vinyl flooring comes in endless patterns, colours, and textures that can leave you feeling overwhelmed. To determine the design you want, set a budget beforehand to narrow down your options. If you have a specific design or colour in mind, look for vinyl flooring that can mimic the look and feel of natural wood or stone. Choose your installation type Another factor to consider when choosing vinyl flooring is the type of installation you prefer. The two most common types are glue-down and floating vinyl. Glue-down vinyl is installed by using adhesive to attach it to the subfloor. In contrast, floating vinyl is placed over any surface, making it ideal for DIYers. Select your material When it comes to vinyl flooring, there are three types of material: luxury vinyl tile (LVT), luxury vinyl plank (LVP), and sheet vinyl. LVT mimics the look of ceramic or stone tiles, while LVP mimics wood planks' look. On the other hand, sheet vinyl is a single sheet that covers the whole floor. Consider the cost Luvanto flooring comes in various price ranges, from budget-friendly to high-end. As such, you must consider the cost and your budget. Whether you're looking for an affordable yet durable option or something that mimics natural materials like wood and stone, vinyl flooring has something for everyone. By following these tips, you're sure to find the perfect vinyl flooring for your home in no time. Disclaimer: this is a collaborative post. Collaborative Post | There’s no denying we’re living in a world of fast fashion and fleeting trends, which can seem utterly exhausting sometimes if you’re trying to sort out your wardrobe! That’s why a timeless wardrobe is a great option for transcending seasonal fads and ensuring you always look and feel your best, no matter the year or occasion. This article will explore the principles and strategies for building a timeless wardrobe that reflects your personal style while promoting a more sustainable approach to fashion. ![]() Building a timeless wardrobe (Photo by Maëliss Demaison on Unsplash) The Importance of a timeless wardrobe
There are a few different reasons why building yourself a timeless wardrobe comes highly recommended. One of the key advantages is, of course, a strong commitment to sustainability. Since fast fashion accelerates environmental degradation through excessive production and harmful disposal of garments that have “gone out of style,” building a capsule wardrobe instead encourages the buying of eco-friendly materials and sourcing clothes that have been produced through responsible manufacturing. Another key benefit of a timeless wardrobe is longevity. By investing in fewer (but higher quality items) consumers can build a wardrobe of clothes that stand the test of time, and more importantly, need replacing less often. Wardrobe essentials Deciding exactly what to put into your timeless wardrobe can be tricky. So we’ve created a quick list of what we think are the biggest essentials for a capsule closet: ● Tailored blazer ● Classic white tee ● Well-fitting jeans ● Little black dress ● Timeless trench coat ● White trainers ● Black boot ● All-round dress ● Button-up shirt ● Stripy jumper Elevate your style with timeless accessories As well as deciding on some timeless pieces of clothing, it’s also important to choose accessories that will also stand the test of time. Pieces like a well-crafted leather handbag, a versatile silk scarf, and a pre-owned classic watch that you can’t go wrong with, are all a great start. The art of mixing and matching Once you have all the pieces safely in your timeless wardrobe, the final step is finding out just how they work together. By keeping the items fairly neutral, you can create a number of different outfit combinations. If you’re feeling really brave, mixing and matching any patterns in your new wardrobe can be successful if you stick with complimentary colour schemes while you do it. You can also try your hand at mixing and matching by reviving and reinventing the clothes you already own. Finally remove that old red wine stain from your white jumper, or get the sewing kit out to make those expensive leggings as good as they once were! Building a capsule wardrobe isn’t just great for sustainability, it’s also a great fashion hack to make choosing what to wear in the morning a whole lot easier. Once you’ve gone timeless, you won’t go back! Disclaimer: this is a collaborative post. Collaborative Post | From the snow-covered peaks of the Alps to sun-drenched Mediterranean coastlines, Europe is a kaleidoscope of seasonal experiences. With the channel tunnel being such a convenient entryway to the continent, we invite you to explore the many scenic drives of Europe. ![]() Year-round road trips in Europe (Photo by Ries Bosch on Unsplash) Road trip preparationDriving to Europe in your car or perhaps even a campervan? Before we get down to the fun part of getting inspiration, there are a few important preparation issues to put on your to-do list:
And now for the fun part… Winter wonderlands (November - February)Provided you’re confident driving in challenging conditions (think all-season tyres and snow chains), there are some breathtaking European countries ripe for winter explorations. There’s the Alps, which run through France, Monaco, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Slovenia and Slovenia. Then there’s Scandinavia. The drive to Denmark from Dover is estimated to take about 13 hours without breaks, so this is more one for the seasoned long-distance driver! Logistically, you may find it easier to fly into one of the Scandinavian countries and then hire a car from there. The Baltic regions are also beautiful in winter and tend to have a lower cost of living. Springtime flower routes (March - May)What could be more refreshing than driving past European fields as they come alive with the first flowers of spring? The Dutch tulip route is famous and it’s well worth doing. Search for the Bollenstreek Flower Map to guide you past all the main tulip and hyacinth fields that brighten the Netherlands at this time of year. Or follow the Route des Grandes Alps from northern France right down to the sunny south coast. After winter, the high Alpine passes should no longer be covered in snow. The views are spectacular, and the heat isn’t yet out of control. Summer beach drives (June - August)Let’s face it, the main part of Europe that attracts tourists in summer is the Mediterranean! As long as your car has a solid AC system or climate control, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t take a road trip adventure there. Italy is a wonderful country for a summer road trip, as long as you avoid the busiest times in August. Tuscany is much-loved for its medieval towns and famous rippling hills. If you don’t mind a few mountain roads, the Dolomites also make for a spectacular drive. Italy also had a lot to do with the popularisation of ice cream, and the superior quality is evident when you stop at any Italian gelateria after a long day’s drive. It’s second to none! Autumn foliage journeys (September - October)You really should treat yourself to a road trip through an autumnal European destination at some point in your life.
There’s the Black Forest in Germany, a blend of colourful deciduous trees and evergreen conifers. Cruising past the forest’s lakes and seeing the vivid autumn colours reflected back at you is a special experience. Closer to home, the Scottish highlands are also an impressive drive in early autumn. Set against Scottish pine backdrop and perhaps a loch or two, it’s a rewarding drive. Seeing Europe from the road is an authentic way to enjoy the seasons. Certain parts of Europe really come into their own when particular seasons hit. Knowing where to go and when is key!
