I have been asked a few times recently if I can recommend black ankle boots to wear with jeans, dresses or skirts so I thought it was about time I did a bit of research and passed on a few suggestions for some good all rounders! Black ankle boots are now a wardrobe staple, part of our capsule wardrobe and I tend to update mine every year as I wear them quite a lot so they always look a bit tired by the end of the season and because each year we see a bit of an update in style so for me I like to refresh my boots! I will be honest and admit to struggling to find my style mojo right now! Some seasons it all just falls into place - like it did last year - but this year I can't quite seem to decide what I am loving! But I did a quick swoop on John Lewis last week and I do love the knitwear colours in their new John Lewis & Partners range. So here I am sharing an easy to wear autumn outfit - great for down days, errand days, pop on a black biker jacket or a faux fur gilet or jacket and you are good to go!   Following on from my first COMCIT anti-ageing facial at Sunrise Health & Beauty, Dawn encouraged me to book in for an eyebrow shape and tint - or a better description - an instant facelift! I have had my eyebrows threaded and tinted and I have had a shape and tint in the past, but I do not get in done often enough. And really as women in our 40's and 50's we should be having this simple beauty treatment done monthly.
It makes such a difference! I was already feeling pretty refreshed and glowing from my first two facials so adding an eyebrow shape and tint really has lifted my face and defined my eyes. |
